Our e-books have reached thousands of people over the years, being purchased and shared all over the world.
Why have I never heard of you before?
The founder of Milne Publishing, Tim Milne, a clinical hypnotherapist in the UK, has been creating original e-books and editing classic, out-of-copyright books since 2008.
He has brought these to readers in various ways
First was through a site and Facebook page that no longer exists called “Your Classic Reads”. These were e-books that were edited and re-formatted / typeset from out-of-print classics.
Next came Tim Milne & Co (TMC). With TMC, Tim brought original titles, classic e-books, and hypnosis audios to the world. The TMC site and Facebook page no longer exist, but there is still a Bonanza booth where MPL titles are available. It is still branded Tim Milne & Co.
During this time, TMC published e-books via a 3rd party provider and most of the titles were available and sold worldwide through Amazon, Scribd, Barnes & Noble and other good bookshops.
Unfortunately after 15 years of successful co-operation between TMC and the 3rd party provider the 3rd party provider decided to end the arrangement.
Eventually Tim founded Milne Publishing Limited (MPL) so that he could bring together our hypnosis audios and e-books under one publisher.
Soon all of our titles will be available from our website, the TMC e-Junkie shop, and the TMC Bonanza booth. Other channels will also be added as they become available.
In this way our titles will be available to those that truly appreciate our vision of publishing and pricing.
What do you mean purchased and shared?
All of our e-books, no matter when or where they are purchased, or whether they have a welcome letter in the e-book or not, give you:
- the right to give a copy of the e-book to your friends so you can form interactive reading groups or e-book clubs
- if you are a teacher, to use the e-book in any way with your students as a teaching reference
Our Genres
We publish a range of genres:
- Original e-books: self-help, self-improvement
- Classic e-books: self-help, self-improvement, sport, comedy fiction
Our File Formats
We always create our e-books in four formats.
Our titles are listed individually and will have the format in the tile of the e-book listing.
This stands for portable document format".
The format is used by many people who do not have other e-readers.
They can be easily shared and printed.
ePub2
ePub 2 is an older e-reader format and has been adopted by most organisations as their standard e-book format.
It can be read on any e-book reader and newer Amazon Kindles.
ePub3
This is the a newer format but on e-readers it looks the same as EPUB2.
It can be read on any e-book reader and newer Amazon Kindles.
The main difference is that for creators ePub3 does a much better job when it comes to formatting text and images.
MOBI
This is used by older Kindles.
Please note this format has been discontinued by Amazon and will not support the newest Kindle features for documents.
